These groups experienced disparities in exposure, susceptibility, treatment access, and psychosocial effects of the pandemic. Greater focus must be placed on health equity and providing resources to alleviate the burden of COVID-19 on these vulnerable populations.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) mortality and neighborhood characteristics in Chicago

Residential setting and race were associated with mortality, suggesting neighborhood context may be most influential on COVID-19 death rates among white residents.
