Signal-to-noise ratio enhancement for Raman spectra based on optimized Raman spectrometer and convolutional denoising autoencoder

Xian-guang Fan et al.

Summary: The study proposes a compact, signal-to-noise ratio enhancement of the Raman spectrometer by optimizing optical structure and noise reduction method. Results show that the performance of the compact Raman spectrometer can be increased to a certain extent with improvement in hardware and algorithm, along with utilizing CDAE to remove noisy signals and achieve higher SNR.

The Concentration of C(sp3) Atoms and Properties of an Activated Carbon with over 3000 m2/g BET Surface Area

Yury M. Shulga et al.

Summary: Alkaline activation of a carbonized graphene oxide/dextrin mixture produced a carbon-based nanomaterial, AC-TR, with a highly porous structure and a specific surface area greater than that of graphene. The material exhibited unique electrical properties and structural characteristics, with low concentration of sp(3) carbon atoms and downshifted plasmon peaks compared to graphite. The study provided comprehensive insights into the properties and structure of the material.
