Selective and Sensitive ZnO Quantum Dots Based Fluorescent Biosensor for Detection of Cysteine

Umran Duru Kamaci et al.

Summary: A novel and highly sensitive ZnO quantum dots-based fluorescent probe was developed for the selective detection of cysteine. The probe was synthesized by condensation reaction and dispersion of ZnO QDs into the solution. The developed biosensor exhibited a larger Stokes shift value and a detection limit of 0.642 μM.
