Pressure Load Characteristics of Explosions in an Adjacent Chamber

Chuan-hao Wang et al.

Summary: This study focused on the pressure loads generated by dynamite explosions in confined spaces, particularly on the characteristics of the first reflected shock wave and quasistatic pressure in adjacent chambers. Experimental data and theoretical analysis showed that the shock wave load from the main chamber did not affect adjacent chambers, while the quasistatic pressure load was relatively smaller.
