A novel chiral polyester composite membrane: Preparation, enantioseparation of chiral drugs and molecular modeling evaluation

Summary: In this study, chiral polyester composite membranes were successfully fabricated by covalently bonding cyclodextrins with commercial cellulose acetate membranes. The modified membranes showed efficient enantioseparation of chiral drugs under optimal preparation conditions. Furthermore, the mechanism of chiral recognition was elucidated using molecular modeling with AutoDock, providing insights into the molecular interactions involved in the process.
