Summary: Defect engineering has been an effective strategy to improve the hydrogen evolution reaction efficiency of electrocatalysts. In this work, high-efficiency HER electrocatalysts were successfully prepared on a conductive substrate using a facile chemical vapor deposition method, demonstrating stable HER performance with low Tafel slope and overpotential voltage values.
