Comparison of electrochemical performance of various boron-doped diamond electrodes: Dopamine sensing in biomimicking media used for cell cultivation

Mariola Brycht et al.

Summary: Different types of boron-doped diamond were characterized in terms of fabrication route, morphology, and surface treatment in this study. The results showed that H-terminated BDD outperformed O-terminated BDD in neurotransmitter sensing, with porous H-BDD exhibiting the highest sensitivity and lowest detection limits in common biomimicking environments.

Development of a novel sensing platform based on molecularly imprinted polymer and closed bipolar electrochemiluminescence for sensitive detection of dopamine

Wenyuan Zhao et al.

Summary: In this study, a new ECL sensing strategy was proposed by combining molecular imprinting technology (MIT) and bipolar electrode (BPE) for rapid dopamine (DA) analysis. The MIP modified electrode showed improved sensitivity, selectivity, and stability for DA detection, demonstrating great sensing performance in the established platform.
