Colour-tunable ultralong-lifetime room temperature phosphorescence with external heavy-atom effect in boron-doped carbon dots

Qi Feng et al.

Summary: A method for preparing color-tunable ultralong-lifetime room temperature phosphorescence (URTP) materials has been developed successfully, resulting in a series of URTP boron-doped carbon dots. Among these, BD50 exhibits significant multi-color emission and phosphorescence, with high photoluminescence quantum yield and phosphorescence quantum yield, suitable for applications in anti-counterfeiting and information encryption.
