2D materials coated on etched optical fibers as humidity sensor

The ESMF coated with G/GO showed high sensitivity and a one-to-one relationship between RDA and RH, while MoSe2 based sensor is suitable for low humidity conditions but not useful for humidity above 30%. On the other hand, MoS2 coated ESMF exhibited indistinct behavior and is not recommended as a humidity sensor.

Flexible and Transparent Polymer-Based Optical Humidity Sensor

The sensing behavior is evaluated by monitoring transmittance values at different humidity levels, and the sensor's hysteresis and sensitivity are determined after bending deformations. The successful development of a flexible sensor for optical monitoring of humidity in a wide range is demonstrated and discussed.
