Efficacy and safety of fasinumab in patients with chronic low back pain: a phase II/III randomised clinical trial

Paula Dakin et al.

Summary: The study found that high doses of fasinumab, but not low doses, improved both pain and function in patients with moderate-to-severe, chronic low back pain. Most joint adverse events occurred in patients with peripheral osteoarthritis. Further research is needed to determine the optimal benefit-risk profile for patients with chronic low back pain with and without peripheral osteoarthritis.
