Summary: The study suggests that a comprehensive legal framework for agrivoltaics in the U.S. should involve a combination of federal and state energy financing mechanisms, as well as favorable state and local land use policies. Specifically, a state-level feed-in tariff and local government allowances for mixed land use between solar and agriculture are seen as key features of an enabling legal framework. The results highlight the importance of multi-level, multi-sector policy integration in advancing agrivoltaics in the U.S.

This paper discusses the challenges of solar panel defect detection techniques and reviews conventional and emerging technologies for accurately identifying degradation sources and extending the useful lifetime of PV modules.
