Recording of electrocochleography from the facial nerve canal in mice

Summary: This study presents a surgical method for long-term ECochG recording in mice by implanting electrodes into the facial nerve canal. Compared to the traditional method of ECochG guided by electrodes in the round window niche, using electrodes from the facial nerve canal can achieve stable long-term monitoring.
