Using Wearable Sensor Technology to Measure Motion Complexity in Infants at High Familial Risk for Autism Spectrum Disorder

Rujuta B. Wilson et al.

Summary: The study utilized wearable sensors to longitudinally assess full day motor activity in HR infants and developed a measure of motion complexity. Results indicated that HR infants later diagnosed with ASD exhibited lower motion complexity, and there was a stronger correlation between motion complexity and ASD outcome compared to cognitive ability and adaptive skills outcomes.

Differential cardiopulmonary monitoring system for artifact-canceled physiological tracking of athletes, workers, and COVID-19 patients

Hyoyoung Jeong et al.

Summary: Skin-integrated soft electronic sensors can continuously measure diverse physiological parameters, with design strategies to reduce the impact of motion artifacts on the signals. These dual-sensing devices can measure physiological parameters such as heart rate and respiratory activities during daily activities, even during intense exercises and swimming.
