Effects of Intensive and Semi-Intensive Production on Sheep Milk Chemical Composition, Physicochemical Characteristics, Fatty Acid Profile, and Nutritional Indices

Eleni Kasapidou et al.

Summary: Intensive and semi-intensive sheep farming are common in Greece, with studies showing that grazing can improve the fatty acid composition of milk. The fatty acid composition and nutritional value of milk were significantly improved in semi-intensive production systems due to the inclusion of pasture in sheep diet.
