Simultaneous results for unsteady flow of MHD hybrid nanoliquid above a flat/slendering surface

Fazle Mabood et al.

Summary: This research focuses on the boundary layer analysis of two-dimensional unsteady hybrid nanofluid flow over a flat/slendering stretching surface incorporating thermal radiation and magnetohydrodynamic analysis. The study resolves the transformed nonlinear ordinary differential equations using the Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg technique, and discusses the influences of the flow regime on several thermofluidic parameters. The main finding is that increasing the magnetic field and nanoparticle volume fraction parameters decreases skin friction, while improvements in radiation and nanoparticle volume fraction lead to a significant increase in heat transfer rate.

Convective heat transfer in MHD hybrid nanofluid flow over two different geometries

G. P. Ashwinkumar et al.

Summary: This paper examines the impact of nonlinear thermal radiation on 2-D magnetohydrodynamic flow of hybrid nanoliquid across two distinct geometries and discusses the resulting flow and thermal distributions. The results show that nonlinear thermal radiation enhances thermal distributions and decreases heat transfer rates, with differences observed between flow over a cone and flow over a plate. Additionally, the thermal transport rate is significantly higher for flow above a cone compared to flow over a plate.

The improved thermal efficiency of Maxwell hybrid nanofluid comprising of graphene oxide plus silver / kerosene oil over stretching sheet

Farooq Ahmad et al.

Summary: The research theoretically analyzed the heat transfer enhancement of hybrid nanofluids flowing through a porous medium in the presence of a magnetic field. The results showed that the flow speed increases with the Maxwell fluid parameter, while the increasing strength of the magnetic field and porosity resistance slows down the flow but causes a rise in temperature. Additionally, the additive volume fraction of silver with Graphene oxide helps decelerate the flow and enhance heat transportation.
