φ-meson lepto-production near threshold and the strangeness D-term

Yoshitaka Hatta et al.

Summary: The study presents a model of exclusive phi-meson leptoproduction ep -> e'p'phi near threshold, emphasizing the strangeness gravitational form factors of the proton. It argues that the shape of the differential cross section d sigma/dt serves as a sensitive probe of the strangeness D-term of the proton.

Perturbative QCD analysis of near threshold heavy quarkonium photoproduction at large momentum transfer

Peng Sun et al.

Summary: The study applies perturbative QCD to investigate near-threshold heavy quarkonium photoproduction at large momentum transfer. It reveals a modified power counting method and the dominance of the three quark Fock state with nonzero orbital angular momentum. The results have significant implications for the interpretation of experiment measurements in terms of the gluonic gravitational form factors of the proton.

Mass radius of the proton

Dmitri E. Kharzeev

Summary: The mass radius of the proton was determined using the form factor of the trace of the energy-momentum tensor of QCD, with a resulting value of Rm = 0.55 +/- 0.03 fm. This value was found to be significantly smaller than the charge radius of the proton, with the difference attributed to the effects of asymptotic freedom and spontaneous breaking of chiral symmetry in QCD. Future measurements are needed to further refine the determination of the mass radius.

Forces inside the nucleon on the light front from 3D Breit frame force distributions: Abel tomography case

Julia Yu Panteleeva et al.

Summary: The study establishes the mathematical equivalence between force distributions in Breit frame and light front, where pressure and shear force distributions in Breit frame can be transformed unambiguously into light front force distributions through Abel transformation. The positivity property of Abel transformation ensures that 2D local stability conditions are satisfied automatically if the corresponding 3D stability conditions are fulfilled.

Forces within hadrons on the light front

Adam Freese et al.

Summary: In this work, light front densities for momentum and forces within hadrons are found, and their relation to gravitational form factors associated with the energy momentum tensor is derived. The study highlights the importance of using the light front formalism to define densities corresponding to internal hadron structure, showing that this approach is more suitable than the instant form formalism. New expressions for mechanical properties of hadrons, including the mechanical radius, and stability conditions are derived within the front formalism, using the multipole ansatz as an illustration.

Nucleon mass radii and distribution: Holographic QCD, lattice QCD, and GlueX data

Kiminad A. Mamo et al.

Summary: The paper reviews the invariant A, B, D gravitational form factors of the nucleon in holographic QCD and compares them with gluonic gravitational form factors measured using lattice QCD simulations. The holographic A-term is related to the tensor Regge trajectory, while the D-term is determined by differences in Regge trajectories between gravitons and dilatons. The B-term is nonexistent without a tensor coupling to a Dirac fermion in bulk. The tensor form factor A-term can already be measured using GlueX data, providing insight into the properties of gluons inside the proton.

Extraction of the proton mass radius from the vector meson photoproductions near thresholds

Rong Wang et al.

Summary: This study analyzes the proton mass radius by looking at the t dependence of differential cross sections of vector meson photoproductions near thresholds. By assuming a dipole form for the scalar form factor, the proton mass radius is determined using near-threshold photoproduction data of J/psi, phi, and omega vector mesons, with an estimated average value of 0.67 +/- 0.03 fm.
