Numerical spectral examination of EMHD mixed convective flow of second-grade nanofluid towards a vertical Riga plate using an advanced version of the revised Buongiorno's nanofluid model

Summary: This study investigates the impact of the Cattaneo-Christov model and convective boundary on second-grade nanofluid flow, as well as the influence of Lorentz forces generated by a Riga pattern. The research finds variations in horizontal movement, thermal distribution, and concentration distribution of nanoparticles for different fluid parameters. The results are obtained using a spectral local linearization method and reveal enhancements in horizontal movement for elevated modified Hartman factor values, as well as reductions in thermal state and nanoparticle concentration for incremental relaxation time parameters.

Shape factor effect of radiative Cu-Al2O3/H2O hybrid nanofluid flow towards an EMHD plate

Summary: This study analyzed the effects of different nanoparticle shape factors, EMHD, and radiation parameters on the flow of Cu-Al2O3/H2O nanofluid towards a stretching/shrinking Riga plate. New solutions were found with certain shrinking parameter values, showing instabilities in the solutions. The increase in EMHD parameter was found to delay the separation process, and heat transfer rate slightly increased with the rise of EMHD, radiation, and shape factor parameters.
