Improvement of spectral responsivity of ZnO nanoparticles deposited on porous silicon via laser ablation in liquid

Shahad S. Khudiar et al.

Summary: The study synthesized Zinc Oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles using pulsed laser ablation and prepared porous silicon layers using the PECE method. The adhesion between ZnO NPs and PS was found to be good, enhancing the structural stability of the PS substrate. Detector measurements showed that ZnO NPs/PS had a higher responsivity of 0.04 A/W.

Synthesis of C:Se (core:shell) nanoparticles via laser ablation on porous silicon for photodetector application

Duha H. Jwied et al.

Summary: C:Se (core:shell) nanoparticles are produced through laser ablation and deposited on porous silicon. The nanoparticles exhibit crystalline structure and a rod-like shape, showing promising performance on photodetectors. The study also determines electrical characteristics of heterojunctions and the efficacy of the photodetectors.

Preparation and characterization of C:Se nano-rods ablated on porous silicon

Duha H. Jwied et al.

Summary: Carbon:Selenium nanoparticles were prepared by laser ablation at different laser energies and wavelengths, followed by deposition on porous silicon. The nanocrystalline nature and rod-like shape of the particles were confirmed through XRD and AFM analysis, with an increase in optical energy gap observed. The electrical properties of the Al/C:SeNPs/PS/Si/Al heterojunction were determined through J-V measurements.
