Towards Accurate Diagnosis of Skin Lesions Using Feedforward Back Propagation Neural Networks

Summary: This study explored the application of Feedforward Back Propagation Network (FFBPN) in real-time melanoma detection by investigating shape asymmetry, finding that asymmetry A2 is a meaningful feature for skin lesion classification. The FFBPN was shown to have high architecture flexibility and can effectively model data without compromising prediction accuracy.
