Accurate prediction of salmon storage time using improved Raman spectroscopy

Nan Zhong et al.

Summary: This paper evaluates the accuracy and adaptability of Raman spectroscopy in predicting the storage time of salmon meat at different temperatures, proposing a novel method named long short term memory (LSTM) for spectral modeling. The results show that spectral bands selection of 1000-1500 cm(-1) and normalization can improve prediction performance, with LSTM model outperforming traditional machine learning methods such as SVM and KNN in terms of prediction performance and accuracy.

Non-destructive testing of red globe grape sugar content and moisture content based on visible/near infrared spectroscopy transmission technology

Gao Sheng et al.

Summary: This study investigated a non-destructive detection method for sugar and moisture content of red globe grapes based on visible/near-infrared spectroscopy. Models were established using PLSR and LSSVM, with LSSVM showing better detection performance at the cost of longer computation time. However, PLSR, with shorter computation time, is suitable for rapid online detection.
