Wave-Vector-Varying Pancharatnam-Berry Phase Photonic Spin Hall Effect

Wenguo Zhu et al.

Summary: This research demonstrates a novel wave-vector-varying PB phase that naturally arises in transmission and reflection processes for paraxial beams with small incident angles. This new photonic spin Hall effect can address the contradiction between spin separation and energy efficiency in the conventional PSHE.

Dyakonov surface magnons and magnon polaritons

Shaopeng Hao et al.

Summary: In this study, one Dyakonov surface magnon (DSM) and two Dyakonov magnon polaritons (DSMPs) localized at the antiferromagnet (AF)-air interface were predicted. The DSM is the magnetostatic limit of the first DSMP, while the second DSMP lies outside the frequency band. The DSMPs exhibit hybrid-polarization characteristics with different attenuation constants, making them suitable for experimental observation.
