BP Signal Analysis Using Emerging Techniques and its Validation Using ECG Signal

Varun Gupta et al.

Summary: Monitoring of parameters such as BP, HR, RSP, PPG, and ECG is crucial during surgeries and anesthesia. Detecting cardiovascular diseases through analysis of these parameters is important for patient health monitoring. Control of BP is significant for overall health, with risks of heart attacks increasing if it goes beyond normal range.

Mechanoelectrical flexible hub-beam model of ionic-type solvent-free nanofluids

Weipeng Hu et al.

Summary: This paper introduces a mechanoelectrical flexible hub-beam model of ionic-type solvent-free nanofluids based on microscopic mechanisms, and proposes a novel simulation approach to study their dynamics. Using this model, the critical initial perturbation intensity for flow initiation is determined, and an upper limit for flow velocity is demonstrated.

Coupling dynamic behaviors of flexible stretching hub-beam system

Weipeng Hu et al.

Summary: In the first stage deployment of the IKAROS solar sail, a simplified coupling dynamic model is proposed to analyze the active axial stretching of the flexible beam. A structure-preserving approach is constructed to simulate the evolution of the transverse vibration of the beam and rotation of the hub. The numerical results show that there are coupling effects between the beam deformation, active stretching, and hub rotation in the stretching stage.
