Dual-Stage Atmospheric Water Harvesting Device for Scalable Solar-Driven Water Production

Alina LaPotin et al.

Summary: Recent research has shown that a dual-stage AWH device with optimized design can achieve higher daily water productivity by recovering the latent heat of condensation and maintaining the required temperature difference between stages, without the need for additional heating units. Outdoor experiments demonstrated the effectiveness of the dual-stage water harvesting device.

Monitoring Drinking Water Quality in Nationally Representative Household Surveys in Low- and Middle-Income Countries: Cross-Sectional Analysis of 27 Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys 2014-2020

Robert Bain et al.

Summary: This study conducted water quality surveys in 27 low- and middle-income countries and found that E. coli contamination was common in both water collection points and points of use. Many households did not meet the SMDW criteria, with E. coli contamination being a major reason.
