Composition of Intracellular Protein Corona around Nanoparticles during Internalization

Chuan Wang et al.

Summary: This study used a PFA cross-linking strategy to stabilize the composition of protein corona around intracellular nanoparticles, revealing that the corona is mainly composed of cell-derived proteins and undergoes significant changes over time during internalization. The results indicate that AuNPs are predominantly endocytosed through a clathrin-mediated pathway into an endolysosomal pathway.

Highly efficient artificial blood coagulation shortcut confined on Ca-zeolite surface

Lisha Yu et al.

Summary: The study shows that the artificial catalyst trypsin/CaY can perform surface-confined thrombin generation, providing a shortcut for natural blood coagulation cascade. It has been found to be highly effective in achieving rapid hemostasis in massive bleeding and hemophilia animal models, surpassing current clay- or zeolite-based topical agents.
