Prevalence of Malaria among Adults in Ethiopia: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Summary: The study found that the overall prevalence of malaria among adults in Ethiopia was 13.61%. Symptomatic adults had a prevalence of 15.34% and asymptomatic adults had a prevalence of 11.99%. Regional subgroup analysis showed that the highest malaria prevalence was in the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region (SNNPR) at 16.17%.
