Exosome-transmitted lncRNA PCGEM1 promotes invasive and metastasis in gastric cancer by maintaining the stability of SNAI1

H-y Piao et al.

Summary: This study aimed to explore the molecular mechanisms of invasion in gastric cancer cells under hypoxic conditions. Exosomes rich in PCGEM1 from hypoxic-cultured gastric cancer cells promoted invasion and migration of other gastric cancer cells. PCGEM1 may act as a scaffold combined with SNAI1 to facilitate invasion and migration in gastric cancer.

Exosomal miR-487a derived from m2 macrophage promotes the progression of gastric cancer

Xuefeng Yang et al.

Summary: The study showed an increase in the proportion of M2 macrophages in gastric cancer tissues, where M2 macrophages promoted cell proliferation and tumorigenesis through exosomal miR-487a targeting TIA1. These findings may contribute to the development of novel diagnostic and therapeutic methods for gastric cancer.

Identification of HCG18 and MCM3AP-AS1 That Associate With Bone Metastasis, Poor Prognosis and Increased Abundance of M2 Macrophage Infiltration in Prostate Cancer

Yanfang Chen et al.

Summary: This study identified crucial lncRNAs associated with prostate cancer bone metastasis, revealing HCG18 and MCM3AP-AS1 as potential targets for treatment and prognosis improvement. These lncRNAs were found to regulate M2 macrophage infiltration, suggesting a novel therapeutic strategy for PCa bone metastasis.
