Multiple solutions for singularly perturbed nonlinear magnetic Schrodinger equations

Vincenzo Ambrosio

Summary: In this paper, we study singularly perturbed nonlinear Schrodinger equations with electromagnetic potentials and continuous nonlinearities of different growth rates. Using suitable variational techniques, truncation arguments, and Lusternik-Schnirelman theory, we establish a connection between the number of nontrivial complex-valued solutions and the topology of the set where the electric potential attains its minimum value.

Positive multipeak solutions to a zero mass problem in exterior domains

Monica Clapp et al.

Summary: The study establishes the existence of positive multipeak solutions to the nonlinear scalar field equation with zero mass, showing that the number of solutions grows arbitrarily large as the parameter R approaches infinity. The nonlinearity of the equation is subcritical at infinity and supercritical near the origin.
