New fast synthesis of MOF-801 for water and hydrogen storage: Modulator effect and recycling options

Summary: A new simple and scalable technique for MOF-801 synthesis was reported in this study. The effect of modulators on material properties was investigated, and optimal conditions for water release were proposed. It was shown that both acetic and formic acids enhance the properties of MOF-801 material.
