2D materials coated on etched optical fibers as humidity sensor

Summary: In this investigation, etched-fibers coated with different 2D layers were studied for humidity sensing. The ESMF coated with G/GO showed high sensitivity and a one-to-one relationship between RDA and RH, while MoSe2 based sensor is suitable for low humidity conditions but not useful for humidity above 30%. On the other hand, MoS2 coated ESMF exhibited indistinct behavior and is not recommended as a humidity sensor.
