Multi-Feature Analysis for Automated Brain Stroke Classification Using Weighted Gaussian Naive Bayes Classifier

S. Jayachitra et al.

Summary: In today's world, brain stroke is a life-threatening disease caused by blockage in the brain's arteries. Timely diagnosis through MRI images is crucial for increasing survival rates, but automated detection faces challenges due to the complexity of stroke lesions. This research proposes an optimized fuzzy segmentation algorithm and achieves higher accuracy compared to existing techniques.

Ventilation Diagnosis of Angle Grinder Using Thermal Imaging

Adam Glowacz

Summary: This paper introduces an analysis and classification method using infrared thermography and image processing to evaluate the working condition of angle grinders. A new method, BCAoMID-F, is proposed to extract features from thermal images of three angle grinders and achieved high recognition efficiency. The technique presented is effective for fault diagnosis of electrical devices and electric power tools.

Surface Roughness Evaluation in Thin EN AW-6086-T6 Alloy Plates after Face Milling Process with Different Strategies

Daniel Chuchala et al.

Summary: The study aimed to investigate the effect of removing the outer material layers of aluminium alloy sheets on surface roughness after face milling. Significant differences in surface roughness were found among different machining strategies and rolling directions, but these differences were not statistically significant. The position of the face cutter axis during the machining process was observed to have a significant effect on surface roughness.
