Preparation, microstructure and tensile properties of two dimensional MXene reinforced copper matrix composites

Mengqi Li et al.

Summary: In this study, a new Cu matrix composites with uniform dispersion of submicron and nanoscale MXene reinforcement particles were fabricated, showing that the dispersion homogeneity of the MXene particles significantly affects the mechanical properties of the composites. Additionally, the ball milling time plays a crucial role in achieving optimal dispersion effect for the MXene particles within the composite matrix.
