A multifunctional targeted nanoprobe with high NIR-II PAI/MRI performance for precise theranostics of orthotopic early-stage hepatocellular carcinoma

Linyun He et al.

Summary: The combination of NIR-II PAI and T-2-MRI provides promising omnibearing information on HCC diagnosis, and a multifunctional targeted nanoplatform with outstanding performance in dual-modal imaging is valuable for precise diagnosis and imaging-guided non-invasive photothermal therapy of early-stage HCC. The synthesized versatile targeted nanoprobe showed superior HCC specificity, stability, and high imaging contrast, along with excellent photothermal conversion efficiency. These results suggest the potential of the multifunctional targeted nanoplatform for precise and comprehensive theranostics of early-stage HCC.
