Antimicrobial and Wound Healing Properties of FeO Fabricated Chitosan/PVA Nanocomposite Sponge

Anbazhagan Sathiyaseelan et al.

Summary: A new nanocomposite scaffold was developed for accelerated healing of anemia-associated diabetic wounds, showing excellent biological activity and antibacterial properties. The PD-FeO NPs (0.01%) incorporated CS/PVA sponge exhibited promising cell proliferation in vitro wound-healing assay and could be a recommended option for diabetic wound dressing.
