Summary: Nanostructured metal oxides, particularly nickel-cobalt oxides, show promising electrochemical properties for high-performance lithium-ion batteries. Thin Ni-Co-O films were successfully synthesized using ALD, showing uniform chemical composition and surface. The electrochemical capacity of these films increased with higher nickel oxide content.
