Lipase was immobilized with Cu-3(PO4)(2)·3H2O to synthesize lipase-Cu-3(PO4)(2)·3H2O hybrid microflowers (Lip-MFs), and surfactants, especially CTAB, were found to increase the activity of Lip-MFs compared to free lipase.
Lipase was immobilized with Cu-3(PO4)(2)center dot 3H(2)O to synthesize lipase-Cu-3(PO4)(2)center dot 3H(2)O hybrid microflowers (Lip-MFs). Surfactants (Tween 80, Triton X-100 and CTAB) were added to study their effect on the morphology and activity of Lip-MFs. SEM images revealed that surfactants can increase the size of Lip-MFs and make the hierarchical structure more compact. Further, compared with other surfactants, the activity of CTAB-Lip-MFs was 1.45 times of that of free lipase, demonstrating CTAB is conducive to improve the activity of lipase.
