Yolk-shell structured catalysts offer a promising solution for better performance in catalysis. The yolk-shell nanocubes used as cathode electrodes in a pesudocapacitor showed high electrochemical capacitance and good rate capability.
Yolk-shell structured catalysts offer a promising solution to achieve better performance in catalysis applications. The obtained yolk-shell nanocubes were made into cathode electrode of pesudocapacitor for performance evaluation. The results showed a high electrochemical capacitance of 41.9 mAh g(1) at 0.5 mA cm(2) and good rate capability of ca. 50% retention by increasing 4-fold current density. (C) 2021 Elsevier B.V.
