Facile fabrication of bifunctional SnO-NiO heteromixture for efficient electrocatalytic urea and water oxidation in urea-rich waste water

Summary: In this study, SnO decorated NiO nanocrystal electrocatalyst was successfully synthesized and characterized. The physical characterizations confirmed the potential application of this catalyst in urea oxidation reaction. Further studies showed that the SnO-NiO nanostructured modified electrode has promising potential for wastewater treatment and hydrogen production.
