In-situ study of the formation of sodium-niobate-silicate glass-ceramics with dielectric spectroscopy

Ekaterina Koroleva et al.

Summary: The study focused on the dielectric response and effect of heat treatment on the properties of a potassium-sodium-niobium-silicate glass with a high niobium content. Heat treatment resulted in the formation of sodium niobate nanocrystals, leading to improved dielectric performance. The crystallization process occurred in two stages, with anisotropic nanocrystals and no new nuclei during crystallization.
