A tailored ultra-broadband electromagnetically induced transparency metamaterial based on graphene

Fen-Ying Li et al.

Summary: Based on graphene, a ultra-broadband electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) window with dynamic tunability has been theoretically realized. By adjusting the Fermi level and incidence angle of graphene, the EIT window and effect can be easily modified, showing characteristics of polarization insensitivity and low loss, making it suitable for optical switches, optical modulators, and slow-light devices.

Broadband plasmon-induced transparency modulator in the terahertz band based on multilayer graphene metamaterials

Zhenbin Zhang et al.

Summary: In this research, multilayer graphene metamaterials are utilized to achieve dynamic plasmon-induced transparency, allowing for redshifts or blueshifts at different frequencies. By adjusting the Fermi level of graphene, frequency selectors and electro-optical switches can be realized.

Quadruple plasmon-induced transparency of polarization desensitization caused by the Boltzmann function

Xiao Zhang et al.

Summary: This study proposes a graphene metamaterial desensitized to the polarized angle to produce tunable quadruple plasmon-induced transparency (PIT) and achieves quintuple-mode modulation by tuning Fermi levels. The response of the structure to the angle of polarized light is investigated, and insights gained provide new ideas for the design of novel optoelectronic devices. Additionally, results from the n-order coupled mode theory (CMT) offer new research progress and references in theory.
