Triple plasmon-induced transparency and outstanding slow-light in quasi-continuous monolayer graphene structure

CuiXiu Xiong et al.

Summary: A simple quasi-continuous monolayer graphene structure is proposed to achieve a dynamically tunable triple plasmon-induced transparency effect. The structure contains a self-constructed bright-dark-dark mode system, and a uniform theoretical model is introduced to investigate spectral response characteristics and slow light-effects. The structure displays excellent slow-light effects near the plasmon-induced transparency windows.

A terahertz graphene metamaterial based on polarization-insensitive plasmon-induced transparency for sensing application

Weijie Jiang et al.

Summary: A graphene metamaterial based on polarization-insensitive plasmon-induced transparency in the terahertz region is proposed, showing potential for high-performance sensors. The amplitude and resonant frequency of the PIT window can be modulated by tuning the Fermi level of graphene, while achieving a high group delay. This work lays the foundation for designing polarization-insensitive and high-performance PIT sensors in the terahertz region.

Outstanding slow-light effect for graphene metasurface in terahertz

Yixuan Wang et al.

Summary: In this paper, a n-shaped graphene metasurface is proposed to achieve plasmon induced transparency (PIT) and an outstanding slow-light effect. The convenient modulation for PIT can be realized through Fermi level and carrier mobility. Additionally, a developed coupled mode theory (CMT) is established to demonstrate the optical responses of the metasurface.

Dynamically controllable multi-switch and slow light based on a pyramid-shaped monolayer graphene metamaterial

Cuixiu Xiong et al.

Summary: A five-step coupled pyramid-shaped monolayer graphene metamaterial is proposed, with a dynamically controllable PIT featuring four transparency peaks predicted for the first time. Tunable multi-switch and good slow light effect are expected, with a maximum modulation depth of 16.89 dB.
