Synthesis and Characterization of CeO2/CuO Nanocomposites for Photocatalytic Degradation of Methylene Blue in Visible Light

Summary: The synthesis of CeO2/CuO nanocomposite with excellent photocatalytic performance for removal of organic dyes from water bodies was investigated. The results showed high efficiency in degrading methylene blue (MB) with 91% photodegradation in 3 hours, indicating the potential of CeO2/CuO nanocomposite in treating hazardous dyes in industrial wastewaters.
