Summary: Sono-photodynamic therapy combines sonodynamic and photodynamic therapy to enhance cancer treatment effectiveness. The results suggest that SPD activity can improve the decay rate of PpIX and induce greater necrosis depth. Further research is needed to fully understand the potential of this protocol.
