Dissolution behavior of SrO into molten LiCl for heat reduction in used nuclear fuel

Dokyu Kang et al.

Summary: This study reveals that SrO is highly soluble in LiCl, with experimentally determined concentrations higher than those in used nuclear fuel. This finding will have a significant impact on the development of heat reduction processes for nuclear waste.
