Structural, conformational and therapeutic studies on new thiazole complexes: drug-likeness and MOE-simulation assessments

Ahmed M. Abu-Dief et al.

Summary: A series of new complexes derived from Pd(II), Cu(II) and Fe(III) ions were prepared and characterized using analytical and spectroscopic techniques. The complexes were found to have non-electrolytic nature with a 1:1 molar ratio. In vitro activities of the complexes in antimicrobial, anticancer and antioxidant properties were investigated and compared with the ligand.

Design, synthesis, structural inspection of Pd2+, VO2+, Mn2+, and Zn2+ chelates incorporating ferrocenyl thiophenol ligand: DNA interaction and pharmaceutical studies

Enas T. Aljohani et al.

Summary: Various transition metal chelates were prepared with a ferrocenyl thiophenol imine ligand, and their geometric structures and activation thermodynamic parameters were investigated. The complexes showed superior antimicrobial, anticancer, and antioxidant activities compared to the free ligand, particularly the FSHPd complex. DNA binding studies revealed different binding modes, and molecular docking studies were conducted to understand the binding affinity of the compounds synthesized.

Summary: New pharmacologically active complexes were prepared by coordinating Pd (II), Fe (III), and Cu (II) ions with a novel ligand MPTP. The complexes were characterized through various techniques, demonstrating high stability and bioactivity, suggesting their potential as promising bioactive agents.
