In this paper, the commutant of the truncated Toeplitz operator on K-theta(2) with symbol z(n) is characterized using the commutant lifting theorem. The study determines when A(zn)(theta) is multiplicity free, thereby extending previous results and solving a conjecture.
In this paper, we characterize the commutant of the truncated Toeplitz operator on K-theta(2) with symbol z(n) by the commutant lifting theorem. Using this result we determine when A(zn)(theta), is multiplicity free, which generalizes a result of Douglas and Foias [5] and solves a conjecture of Gu [9]. (C) 2021 Elsevier Inc.
