A transparent and flexible metasurface with both low infrared emission and broadband microwave absorption

Yao Ma et al.

Summary: Research on radar and infrared stealth compatibility has led to the development of a flexible metasurface with low infrared emission, broadband microwave absorption, and high optical transmission. By using impedance matching theory and rational design, this metasurface achieves bi-stealth functions and is suitable for practical applications in multi-spectral stealth fields.

Electrical conductivity and electromagnetic shielding performance of glass fiber-reinforced epoxy composites with multiwalled carbon nanotube buckypaper interlayer

Bruno Ribeiro et al.

Summary: The glass fiber/epoxy-reinforced multi-walled carbon nanotube buckypaper composites showed good electromagnetic interference shielding efficiency in the X-band. The high electrical conductivity of the CNT film and its incorporation in the composites did not affect the electrical conduction. The dielectric properties, total electrical conductivity, and interfacial polarization phenomenon were found to be crucial for the EMI shielding properties of the manufactured composites.
