Protein Phosphatase PP1 Negatively Regulates IRF3 in Response to GCRV Infection in Grass Carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella)

Xudong Hu et al.

Summary: Protein phosphatase-1 (PP1) plays an important role in various cell functions, including cell differentiation, development, immune response, and tumorigenesis. This study focused on the role of PPP1R3G in defending against GCRV infection in grass carp, showing that CiPPP1R3G is significantly up-regulated in response to infection and negatively regulates CiIRF3 expression. The findings suggest that CiPPP1R3G functions as a negative regulator in the anti-GCRV immune responses.

Isolation, Identification, and Genomic Analysis of a Novel Reovirus from Healthy Grass Carp and Its Dynamic Proliferation In Vitro and In Vivo

Ke Zhang et al.

Summary: A new grass carp reovirus, named healthy grass carp reovirus (HGCRV), was isolated from grass carp in 2019. Comparisons showed that it was closely related to GCRV-873 (GCRV-I), but distantly related to other known GCRVs.

The negative regulation of retinoic acid-inducible gene I (RIG-I)-like receptors (RLRs) signaling pathway in fish

Ming Xian Chang

Summary: This paper summarizes recent advances in understanding of negative regulators of the RLR signaling pathway in fish, with a focus on regulatory mechanisms inhibiting the function of RIG-I, MDA5, and other factors. The study also discusses important directions for future research in this field.
