Discrimination and Recognition of Bentong Ginger Based on Multi-elemental Fingerprints and Chemometrics

Summary: The study used chemometrics to analyze the authentication of Bentong ginger, finding that Rb and Pb were closely associated with Bentong ginger and that the concentration of Pb in the samples was below regulatory limits. An artificial neural network model based on elemental data successfully distinguished Bentong ginger from other commercial samples, demonstrating the feasibility of authentication through multi-elemental fingerprinting and chemometrics.
