Bioinspired Nanocomposites with Self-Adaptive Stress Dispersion for Super-Foldable Electrodes

Guangtao Zan et al.

Summary: In this study, a conductive nanocomposite material with super-foldable performance was prepared by mimicking the microstructures of silk cocoon and Mimosa leaf, capable of sustaining over 100,000 times of repeated true-folding without structural damage or electrical conductivity degradation. This material demonstrated a self-adaptive stress-dispersion mechanism and showed promising potential as a super-foldable anode electrode for aqueous batteries in soft-matter electronics.

Approaching Superfoldable Thickness-Limit Carbon Nanofiber Membranes Transformed from Water-Soluble PVA

Shanshan Chai et al.

Summary: The study proposed a novel biomimetic technique combining electrospinning, temperature gradient dehydration, and carbonization to prepare superfoldable carbon nanofiber membranes. These membranes have high specific surface area, excellent biocompatibility, and sensitivity, and can withstand high-frequency real folding, providing a new research direction in the field of flexible electronics.

Trace analysis of progesterone and 21 progestins in milk by ultra-performance liquid chromatography coupled with high-field quadrupole-orbitrap high-resolution mass spectrometry

Suo Decheng et al.

Summary: The method developed enables rapid screening and quantification of progesterone and progestins in milks using UHPLC QE HF HRMS. It meets the validation requirements for veterinary drug residue detection in the EU and China, and has been successfully applied to detect trace levels of progesterone and monitor residual progestins in real milk.

A biomimetic conductive super-foldable material

Guangtao Zan et al.

Summary: This study presents a super-foldable conductive carbon material with layered nanofiber network structures, capable of withstanding 1,000,000 times repeated true-folding without damage and conductivity fluctuations. The unique structure of the material can disperse stress and prevent nanofibers from directly facing 180 degrees folding during true-folding.
