Summary: This study identified a high essential oil-rich and stable strain of H. aromatica, named Jor Lab SM-2, which exhibited significantly higher essential oil yield compared to the check varieties. The stability of the identified germplasm was confirmed through multi-location trials, and this represents the first report on the identification of a superior and stable line of H. aromatica.
